AD5791 DAC Arduino shield Rev 3

dac3

There were a few problems with the previous revision. Basically a screw up with one of the tracks. Only one bodge wire required on the build. Next version is out to fab, but this revision should be good enough for my purposes.

LTC1859 ADC Board rev 2

ADCR2

You can now buy the current rev of this board in my shop at whitefordresearch.com.

This is a revision of the LTC1859 board which fixes a few mistakes. Notably:

  • SMA footprint
  • MUX input for some unknown reason connected to the ground plane!
  • Footprint of voltage reference.
  • Route traces around ADC, nothing under it.
  • Error in decoupling for voltage reference.

Atari Punk Console Rev2

apc2

Updated the APC layout removing the headphone socket and making it look a bit nicer. Also increased the size of the holes for the pots which were too small in the previous design. Will go out to fab shortly.

Can Radar Layout

I’ve been playing with Gregory Charvat’s Can Radar design. While there are kits available, there doesn’t appear to be an open hardware layout. So I figured I’d have a go at putting one together. Below is the first rev. It uses the XR2206 which is no longer manufactured, but if you scratch around can still be found. Hopefully I’ll be able to get this version up and running then migrate the ramp generator to a different IC.
