One of them was fitted with unspecified filters. Given that a number of the FW1000s on eBay are from Genome Analyzers I suspected these would be the <a href=\"https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/genome-analyzer-quantum-gem-532nm-laser-and-filters\/\">same as those I already have.<\/a> But they were completely different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I stuck them up against my Xenon light source and looked at the spectra&#8230; the plots are shown at the bottom of this post. Two of the filters have spectra that seem easy to interpret. 1000736 69799 (A) seems to be a band pass between ~550nm and 570nm. And 1000735 69790 (B) seems to be a band pass between ~576nm and 655nm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other two, I don&#8217;t understand. 1000732 69780 is a bandpass over roughly the same range as (A) above. But seems to strongly attenuate the signal. 1000733 69768 has some kind of peak around 660nm? But it&#8217;s much less clear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Googling around I found the<a href=\"https:\/\/manualzz.com\/doc\/30158539\/samlyukh-lab--g335--safety-guidelines\"> following reference<\/a> to filters with similar serial numbers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"77\" src=\"https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-1024x77.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-1024x77.png 1024w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-300x22.png 300w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-150x11.png 150w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-768x57.png 768w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59-1536x115.png 1536w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/image-59.png 1630w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These three filters match the recorded spectra well, but what exactly 1000732 is doing is less clear to me.
