This is a simple rails dictionary application. It&#8217;s really simple, and requires no code. Obviously not particularly &#8220;featureful&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>1. Create a new rails project:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: bash; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\r\nrails new nihongo\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>2. Create a dictionary database for words:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: bash; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\r\ncd nihongo\r\nrails generate scaffold Word word:string definition:string tags:string\r\nrake db:migrate\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>3. Start the server<\/p>\n<pre class=\"brush: bash; title: ; notranslate\" title=\"\">\r\nrails server\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>4.
