I believe the model I have is a PAR64 it&#8217;s sold by Sound House here in Japan, but I believe it&#8217;s pretty much standard.<\/p>\n<p>Normally the PAR64 takes bulbs with integrated parabolic reflectors like these:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/par64_light.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/par64_light.png\" alt=\"par64_light\" width=\"571\" height=\"473\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1836\" srcset=\"https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/par64_light.png 571w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/par64_light-300x249.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 571px) 100vw, 571px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m interested in installing LEDs in the base, here are the base dimensions:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base-1024x1019.png\" alt=\"parcan64_base\" width=\"700\" height=\"697\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1838\" srcset=\"https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base-1024x1019.png 1024w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base-300x299.png 300w, https:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/parcan64_base.png 1850w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also considering how a PCB might be mounted into the base, I&#8217;ve been looking at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mouser.jp\/Search\/ProductDetail.aspx?R=7790virtualkey53400000virtualkey534-7790\">these<\/a> angle brackets. And possibly drilling some holes in the chassis:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/anglebracket.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/41j.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/anglebracket.jpg\" alt=\"anglebracket\" width=\"140\" height=\"140\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1839\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, I&#8217;m still considering the feasibility of the project. It seems like a parabolic mirror might be required which would be somewhat limiting.
